✨ ASH Conference Spotlight

👤 Welcoming Joseph to the Team
We’re thrilled to introduce Joseph Roberts, the newest member of Team Nanbar! Joseph brings an impressive background in finance, entrepreneurship, and venture capital, and we know his expertise will help drive Nanbar to new heights!
🌟 Looking Ahead: Nanbar Application Launch

🌵 Stay Resilient, Stay Inspired
As we reflect on this past year—its challenges, milestones, and lessons—we’re reminded of the core idea behind Nanbar: resilience. Like the cactus in our logo, we’re determined to grow stronger through every setback and celebrate every small win.
Thank you for being part of our journey. Your feedback, support, and belief in our mission inspire us to keep pushing forward. Let’s make 2025 a year of progress, innovation, and hope—together.
With gratitude,
🌵 Team Nanbar
Road to ASH 66 🏎️
Our team at Nanbar was invited to present two posters at the American Society of Hematology for our work in sickle cell disease. Arvind represented the team, and was able to show off our predictive models and the usage of complex symptom networks in sickle cell disease. Our team learned a ton, helping developing new goals for the upcoming year. ✍️
Develop a system of SCD providers who are interested in using the app to conduct a larger study.
Work towards having 300-500 users on our next study.
Build passive algorithms - That don't require patient input, reducing patient burden.
Build something clinically impactful, not just accurate.
Our team is grateful to be invited, and we are excited for the future of Nanbar Health as a tool for those living with sickle cell disease. ASH taught us that predictive algorithms are a fantastic effort for the future of care, but need to be thoroughly researched and questioned as to whether they are accurate or whether they are clinically impactful - the true goal of ours as we move forward. 🧘
